Poster Production
The beauty of screen printing is lies in restriction of color counts, which is laid down onto paper, one color at a time. This challenges the creativity of the artists to create a visually complex piece of art using as minimal color counts.
The gift and the curse of screen printing is that the skill of the screen printer greatly affects the end product. Different types of inks and styles of rendering artwork sit differently on different types of paper, and knowing how they all come together is important. Screen prints are typically produced in limited edition runs, which makes them sought-after by collectors around the world.
Fine Art Giclees, on the otherhand, provide an option of printing that creates a product that is as close to the original artwork as possible.
I’ve had a hand in everything from art directing print compositions and illustration to reviewing the print files for screen prints and giclees to make sure that everything is up to the standards of the gallery, the studios and the artists involved.
